For the Love of Clod is reinventing the PLAY in cosPLAY by producing professional character shows for animation and pop culture conventions. Clod loves collaborating with talented singers, dancers and cosplayers from across the country and is excited to bring quality programming to Empire City Con 2021!
Kelly Kirstein’s experience spans several genres of performance, from representing the United States and placing as a semifinalist at Miss Supranational 2015, to working as an internationally published model and appearing in film and television work.
Her cosplays range from Marvel Heroes to Disney Princesses, but took off with Lapis Lazuli from Steven Universe. Her Lapis cosplay has been featured on Cartoon Network social media pages and Tumblr Staff Picks. Kelly loves performing live at conventions, experimenting with new makeup looks and is proud to be a queer cosplayer.
Tranquil Ashes is a multi-talented artist who has distinguished herself as a make-up artist, body painter, organizer, and cosplayer who specializes in both sewing and armor builds. Tranquil brings a unique set of skills and experiences from growing up in Baltimore to spending several years in Japan. She is a champion of body-positivism, creator of brave geek spaces such as the CosGala, and all around magical muse.
Tranquil has been cosplaying for 6 years and in that time has been recognized by AfroPunk, Black Nerd Problems and Sy-Fy ( panel @ NYCC) . She also creates content for Quirktastic, and Nerds of Color. She was sponsored by Mehron Makeup to bring to life Corey the Manticore from Disney’s Pixar Onward.
Michaela known as Mika Cosplay/ 01Mika is an actress, cosplayer, and Twitch streamer. Although Mika is new to the industry, she has blown up quickly being sponsored by the largest cosplay costume companies, on the cover of cosplay magazines and novels, starring in films & music videos, and growing an amazing, supportive Twitch community.
