What is Empire City Con?
Empire City Con is a Steven Universe fan convention taking place November 13-15, 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina. It is presented by Star Eyed Events, LLC. The founder and organizer of Beach City Con, the first Steven Universe fan convention, is the chair of Empire City Con. Find out more on our about page. When and for how much can I get tickets to Empire City Con 2019?
Tickets will go on sale to the general public on February 1 at midnight EDT. Prices for 3-day passes start at $70. Tickets will be on sale until November 6.
What will the schedule be?
Empire City Con 2020 will run official programming from Thursday evening to Sunday afternoon. Hours on Friday and Saturday will be 10 AM – 11 PM (subject to change). A full 2020 schedule will be released closer to the convention.
Will there be day passes?
Day passes will be available in Summer 2020.
When can I book my room at the venue?

How accessible is the con?
Empire City Con is committed to accessibility for all attendees, volunteers and staff. We are happy to provide accommodations to guests in need of them. Do you have to cosplay?
Absolutely not! We encourage participation in cosplay to the extent of your comfort. Non-SU cosplay is also totally allowed. Please keep in mind that Empire City Con is an all-ages event and all clothing choices, cosplay or otherwise, should reflect that.
What will programming look like?
Empire City Con programming will be musical, magical, and memorable! Take a look at our previous scheduling for an idea of what we’ve hosted in the past. You can apply to run a panel here. All panels come with one free 3-day base pass to the convention.
Will there be an artists’ alley/vendors?
Yes! Please note we will not accept unlicensed merchandise at Empire City Con 2020. Rules and application are now available at empirecitycon.com/vendors.
Can I volunteer for Empire City Con?
